FORRESTFIELD CRICKET CLUB

Alex Snadden, 19 and at his first year as a senior at Forrestfield Cricket club, took out the most prestigious award, the Club Champion. Alex played 8 games in A Grade and 5 games in B grade, where he took 28 wickets overall, including a 5/28 and a 5/36. Snads became the leader of the A grade attack towards the end of the season but that did not stop him focusing on becoming a better batsmen. Snads ended up with 148 runs @ 18.5. He is already wishing next season to hurry up!

Forrestfield E Grade took out the 2013/14 premiership, knocking off Glen Forrest by 2 wickets on a wet and windy day. Glen Forrest won the toss and elected to bat first, this did not seem to be the smartest decision as they were dismissed for just 95. A roller coaster ride with the bat for the hawks but some level headed hitting from Darren 'Shrek' Embrey (37) saw forrestfield pass the score 7 down to become the premiers of 13/14.

The annual Forrestfield christmas party saw a dress up theme this year. Everyone came as something or someone starting with either a F, H or C. Again another great night for the club and everyone who was involved.
